Bug Fest 2017

Bug Fest 2017 held at the WACF property on ST RD 13 South hosted Syracuse Elementary Fourth graders on Monday, Sept. 11, North Webster on Tuesday and Milford on Thursday.  Kids looked at benthic macro-invertebrates, learned insect body parts, can define arthropod, drank juice with a "proboscis", learned how some bugs move and eat, and learned about metamorphosis by becoming a cocoon! The afternoon group even watched a monarch hatch from the chrysalis!  Awesome Day!!!
