HER FIRST ECLIPSE

Adalyn Korenstra, Syracuse, used not only special glasses but had extra protection for her eyes to view her first eclipse Monday afternoon. She got the glasses with the special plate from Syracuse Elementary where the paper plates were used to make shields around the glasses for extra protection. She is the daughter of Sam and Paige Korenstra and was among a large group of individuals who gathered at the Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation for an eclipse party. (Photo by Larry Baumgardt)
