Public Art

Syracuse-Wawasee Chamber of Commerce held a unique ribbon cutting Monday, May 10, for the new uptown mural. Created and donated by artist Tammy Kratzer and Katherine Kratzer, it is the first of several planned public art pieces planned for the community. Jesse Swain made the frame and building owner Ben Plikerd had a fresh coat of paint put on the building. To view the mural, head north toward uptown on SR 13. It is on the alley between Pearl and Main streets on the right.
