CHAUTAUQUA-WAWASEE an Old Fashioned Christmas

It will be featured 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, on WNIT-South Bend’s show “Experience Michiana.” Be sure to tune in. That is Pam Schumm as Frosty, Chautauqua’s Mary Moretto and Mark Knecht with WNIT Producer Kelsy Zumbrun.

Of course, the event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, outside at Oakwood Resort. A bunch of fun activities will keep everyone busy including hearing the Christmas story at the chapel.

The other photo features Drew Miller (holding light string) and Tom Martin of Beyond Landscaping. They were busy putting lights on the 50 foot Colorado blue spruce tree in front of the Oakwood Inn Thursday and Friday, Nov. 14-15. Colleague Lauren Zeugner took the photo.

Also assisting was Joe Horacek, landscape designer for Beyond Landscaping. The tree will be lit during Chautauqua-Wawasee’s Old Fashioned Christmas celebration. The tree boasts 7,000 LED lights and a star on top.
