NEW flagpole has been erected at Syracuse Laudeman Family Park located in Wawasee Heights.

  It is in memory of Charlie Harris, long time community activist and volunteer. A plaque at its base reads as follows, “Charles M. Harris, respected colleague, beloved friend, incredible man. Founded Harris Funeral Home 1976.” In the photo are Garrett Baldrige, left, park maintenance, and Chad Jonsson, park superintendent. Landscaping is still to come.
