Ramp It Up

A construction team from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources puts the finishing touches on two new boat ramps Tuesday, Oct. 10, on Syracuse Lake near Medusa Street. The new 50-foot concrete ramps replace their 30-foot counterparts installed almost 40 years ago. The DNR is also constructing an ADA-compliant pier immediately west of the ramps and adding a handicap parking space nearby.
