Breaking the ice on Syracuse Lake — Dave Jones said, “I’m ready for more.” More warm weather, that is. Jones was spotted on Syracuse Lake Thursday, floating on the outer edge of the ice covered lake. Jones reported he gets out in his kayak every year, attempting to break apart the ice when the temperature starts to rise.
