Catching Water Bugs

Brady Israelson, 4, Boulder, Colo., son of Mike and Jean Israelson and grandson of Dan and Marilyn Berkey, Lake Wawasee, enjoyed participating in the Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation’s Lake Talk and Eat Bug Catch Saturday morning. Israelson was one of approximately 75 participants in the third annual event.The bug catch, taking place along the shore of the WACF Educational Center, SR 13, Syracuse, allows youngsters and adults to see what bugs are in the lake and how these critters can tell about the lake’s health.
