Blind Logic: The Ralph R. Teetor Story

  • Pickwick Theatre 108 W Main Street Syracuse, IN, 46567 United States (map)

We wanted to share with you an exciting opportunity in the Lake Wawasee area this summer!

If you use cruise control in your car or your boat, you probably never would have guessed that it was invented by a blind engineer! The inventor, Ralph Teetor, owned cottages on Lake Wawasee and had several other relatives who also owned property on the lake. In fact, Ralph’s family has owned the property on Waco Drive for over 100 years!

A free showing of the new documentary, Blind Logic, will be at the Pickwick Theatre in Syracuse on Tuesday, July 23rd at 6:30pm with doors opening at 6:00pm. A freewill donation will benefit the Syracuse-Wawasee Historical Museum.

In the documentary, narrator, Mike Rowe, tells the incredible story of Ralph Teetor and his perseverance, ingenuity, and determination in overcoming his blindness to pursue improvements for the safety and efficiency in both cars and boats. Actor Jeff Daniels brings him to life. The movie even includes some footage of Lake Wawasee.

This will be an opportunity that you will not want to miss!
