What We Do & Why YOU Should Become A Member

Representation

We work hard to maintain relationships with several key community & Governmental agencies including IN State Government, Kosciusko Sheriff, Syracuse City Government, DNR, Zoning Boards & local associations. We also regularly support these similarly dedicated organizations including WACF, Wawasee Flotilla, Syracuse-Wawasee Trails, Wawasee Yacht Club, Lilly Center for Lakes & Streams, Chautauqua Wawasee and many more.

Safety & Conservation

We pay 100% of the cost of Lake Sheriff Patrol, Sheriff volunteers and patrol boats fuel, Installation & maintenance of dry fire hydrants, Development of severe weather warning system, We pay for select street lights around the lake in originally non-lit areas, We partner with the LIlly Center for Lakes & Streams and WACF to preserve Lake Wawasee water quality, Work with the WACF to fund aquatic weed treatment of the heavily used recreational areas of the lake.

Community Service

Produce the annual 4th of July Fireworks show on Lake Wawasee

Design develop and distribute the annual WPOA members directory

Share essential calendar events and information via mailings, quarterly newsletters and wawaseeassociation.org
