ONCE MORE the ice on area lakes is disappearing. Here a couple of shots of the ice on Lake Wawasee and the snow we had last week. The snow is all gone now.. Thanks to Kip Schumm for the photos. Don’t you love the guys on the hover craft? Ready for ice or water aren’t they? 

THE PAST weekend’s snow was certainly beautiful as the photo certifies. March came in like a lamb so we will just have to see how the weather goes. The last snowy March on record was in 2013. Syracuse had about 10 inches in one blast. That was the year the ice on lakes didn’t melt until mid-April. You just never know.
