SYRACUSE — The forecast for the fifth annual Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation’s Falltastic Trail Walk appears to be perfect for a walk through the trails on the WACF educational property. The temperatures will be in the mid to high 60s.

The annual trail walk will be held from noon to 4 p.m. both Saturday, Oct. 19, and Sunday, Oct. 20.

WACF’s Educational Center property has more than three miles of seasonally decorated groomed trails to explore at each person’s own pace. Guests are also encouraged to go geocaching on the trails.

Bring the kids and/or pets to this free family event. After exploring the trails, visit the Ruddell Pavilion for light refreshments in front of a crackling fire.

The WACF Levinson-LaBrosse Lakes & Wetlands Education Center is located at 11586 N. SR 13, one mile south of Syracuse.
