Wawasee Wooden Boat Show comes to Syracuse

Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence winner, Oakwood Resort, will again serve as the host site for the Wawasee Wooden Boat Show. The show is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, June 22.For those wishing to participate, there will be a Thunder Run around Lake Wawasee, Indiana’s largest natural lake, at the conclusion of the show. This is a casual gathering of wooden boat owners and will not include any formal judging of the boats.Food and beverage service will be available through The Pier and Back Porch Restaurant. Additionally, there will be an on-land display area for those who prefer to leave their boat parked on a trailer.The Wawasee Wooden Boat Show is open to all woodie owners and spectators with no pre-registration required.
