With the subzero temperatures this week and multiple school and business closings, the snowmobile drag races have again been rescheduled for next Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Syracuse Community Center.Registration for the races will be from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, with the first of the races beginning at 10 a.m. Participants in the big race will take off on the ice at 11 a.m.The ice fishing derby will still take place on its rescheduled date of Saturday, Feb. 9. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. at Oakwood Resort and the competition kicks off at 8 a.m. The weigh-in will take place at 2 p.m. with the greatest combined weight winning. Any combination of bluegill, crappie and perch can be included and there is a 15 fish limit.
