Come aboard the SS Lillypad from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, for a scenic fall Oktoberfest experience with the Jay Fox Band (Jammin Germans).The cost is $42 per person and includes boat cruise, music and Oktoberfest dinner created by The Frog Tavern. There will also be a cash bar on board for your German and American favorites.The cruise departs from the Frog Tavern, 1116 S. Harkless Drive, Syracuse, and take a cruise on scenic Lake Wawasee. The bottom level is heated/air conditioned. In case of severe weather, the event will be held at The Frog Tavern.Jay Fox has more than 50 years experience, is an AAA national accordion champion. His great-grandparents were born in Leipzig, Germany, and being of German heritage, he specializes in German vocals and music. His versatile experience allows him and his band to play a variety of styles including: Viennese waltz, polka, big band, standards, country, blue-grass, pop, rock, oldies and semi classical.Jammin Germans is frequently in the media. They tour the Midwest and South annually, have performed in Europe and also for many dignitaries including former Vice President Dan Quayle for his presidential campaign.The event is hosted by ExSelent Adventures.
